Advanced Golf Learning Technology
The Mike McGetrick Golf Academy uses the most advanced technological resources available today to enhance your learning experience. By quantifying the mechanics of your golf swing we have the facts for guiding and measuring swing changes. You will find all of the following resources available to you at the performance center:
FlightScope Launch Monitor – The X2 Elite features a revolutionary new radar design with implementation that delivers unprecedented accuracy. The new microwave component greatly enhances the unit’s signal detection ability giving golfers unmatched precision on all 27 data parameters that it provides. With higher performance, increased signal clarity, and more consistency, the X2 Elite provides advanced accuracy on every measurement and data parameter.
BodiTrak – The BodiTrak Tour is the newest, larger model from BodiTrak. It is the only fully wireless integrated mat with a golf radar unit that captures a golfer’s balance pattern and pressure distribution heat map during the entire swing, irrespective of location or lie. The BodiTrak Tour is the ideal tool for golfers looking to get insight into another dimension of their swing.
SAM PuttLab is an analysis tool and training system based on accurate ultrasound measurements. It analyzes the 28 most important parameters of your putting stroke and displays the result in east-to-understand graphics. This system combined with video taping your putting stroke can assist the instructor in identifying putting flaws and helping make specific corrections. Within second, the system gives you and individual feedback of your stroke. The analysis reveals even the smallest details of your movements and allows you to develop improvements and training strategies based on the given results.
The AMM 3D-Golf Electromagnetic System is a real-time, six-degree-of-freedom (6DOF) motion capture system that measures and analyzes the biomechanics of the golf swing. It uses the Polhemus Liberty system high speed electromagnetic sensors; eight times faster than standard video; to track the motion of each body segment and the club; plus the powerful TPI 3D golf biomechanics software to analyze the results. During setup, an accurate alignment procedure aligns each sensor to the anatomy of its respective body segment producing dynamic values specific to that golfer’s body.
